Well I just got back from Blue Lake yesterday. I had a good time and developed quite the tan... I'm almost venturing to say it's the best tan I've had yet! I'll post some pictures of my vacation once I get them! I had the usual camping experiences... for most of my time there the weather including the humidex made the weather feel like 45 degrees. This is no camping weather. I know when I go camping I say I want HOT weather but that is extreme. I would wake up with a layer of sweat over my body... Then the one day that the weather was supposed to cool off at night due to a thunderstorm but our tent was not very good and we got rained out of it... But on the good note we had some fun times at the beach by the blue water and I got to snorkle and see fish swimming in front of me. I also learnt how to play crib and sat around the fire for hours at a time!
I passed my next RCMP exam. This was the recruiting interview and now the light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter. Nonetheless, the fact remains at any time in the rest of the recruiting process I could be turned down and told to wait a year. So as much as I'm excited and nervous to start this adventure I know I can't count my chickens before they hatch! I'm just so glad that something I've worked so hard for is not far out of reach... Many changes are going to take place in the next year no matter what the outcome of my polygraph and I am ready to embrace them!!!
I guess that is all!!! It's time to go to the gym and train for my future!!!

I didn't have to go to work today!! It was nice. I was supposed to go to my aerobics class at 8:30 am but I forgot to set my alarm. Actually I'm kind of happy I didn't set it because I had a great sleep! I then watched the movie "In her shoes" and enjoyed it... That took me to 12:00pm at which point I made kraft dinner and ate it happily! I then went tanning and hit the gym for three hours!!! Aside from the extremely relaxing day I accomplished alot of thinking. So many things that I had been told and read in the last while hit me and caused me to examine my life. I'll tell you a little about it...
Grace and forgiveness... Shouldn't Christians show more of that because of what Christ did on the cross. You would think so... I wouldn't say that Christians show no grace and do no good things in this world, I just find that nonbelievers show it much more readily. With Christians there are extra emotions that lie behind every forgiveness act and non believers the judgements are so much lower that forgivness is more of an option because things arn't taken so personally and anaylsed so deeply. I found myself in this catagory. I gave people one or two chances to be close to me but when all was said and done if they disapointed me more than that I was done...
I realized this was so retarded. My friend told me that he accepts everyone and forgives them as much as he can until he gets too annoyed. He goes where ever he is invited and gives every friendship every chance humanly possible... I just admired that so much... this caused me to realize that I too need to forgive as many times needed... no one is perfect definatly not me... The thing is, I had to learn this from someone who has different beliefs than I do...
I also realized that if you live with no grace or forgiveness in your life you carry around a burden that can be released, but only if you let it. Why not forgive and move on with your life... things can be so much happier.
Oh ya and on a lighter note!!! I passed my next test for the RCMP!!! WHOO HOO!!! I trained so hard and it paid off greatly!!! I don't think i've ever worked for anything harder!

Ever since facebook has come into my life blogging is really far and inbetween !! Hmm... to my left is a picture of ME!!! Some have already asked me if this is a picture of me trying to be a super hero... the answer is NO. I am dressing in farm clothes to visit the pigs in the barn at the Janzen's house. They told me to change and warned me I'd be stinky but I never believe them to the extreme caution they gave me. I honestly smelt soooo bad all night. I changed back into my clothes but that didn't matter... what I really needed was a shower! I only spent 10 mintues in the barn... wow! But the pigs were great!!!

I'm not anticipating too many posts being written on my part over summer!!! I have a very busy summer! Aside from all the tests and exams I have to take for the RCMP, I am leaving for Blue Lake in three weeks for a week with my lovely family the "Evans Family!!" They are alot of fun and I am expecting a great time!!! I even bought this WICKED air mattress for the water!!! It has pillows built in and even drink holders!!! Ya I know amazing!!!

My lovely roommate Susan (well ex roommate I guess... wow actually makes it sound like we are on bad terms!!!) But we are potentially going to Asessippi and Russell for a night to do some hardcore toubing on the river... It comes in this deal package and that is about half way inbetween where we both live!!! Couldn't be any better!!!

Then at the end of the month I am going to JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE!!! YA!!! The best part about it is SUSAN will be here!!! A night with SUSAN and JUSTIN!! I once had a dream like that!!!

Well for everyone that I haven't seen in a while... HELLO!!!! For my Saskatoon people that I hold so dear to my heart... you know who you are... I am expecting a visit at the end of August so we can plan some sort of festivities!!!
