Well I just got back from Blue Lake yesterday. I had a good time and developed quite the tan... I'm almost venturing to say it's the best tan I've had yet! I'll post some pictures of my vacation once I get them! I had the usual camping experiences... for most of my time there the weather including the humidex made the weather feel like 45 degrees. This is no camping weather. I know when I go camping I say I want HOT weather but that is extreme. I would wake up with a layer of sweat over my body... Then the one day that the weather was supposed to cool off at night due to a thunderstorm but our tent was not very good and we got rained out of it... But on the good note we had some fun times at the beach by the blue water and I got to snorkle and see fish swimming in front of me. I also learnt how to play crib and sat around the fire for hours at a time!
I passed my next RCMP exam. This was the recruiting interview and now the light at the end of the tunnel is getting brighter. Nonetheless, the fact remains at any time in the rest of the recruiting process I could be turned down and told to wait a year. So as much as I'm excited and nervous to start this adventure I know I can't count my chickens before they hatch! I'm just so glad that something I've worked so hard for is not far out of reach... Many changes are going to take place in the next year no matter what the outcome of my polygraph and I am ready to embrace them!!!
I guess that is all!!! It's time to go to the gym and train for my future!!!

That's cool Wendy, good ol' Josh Brown (you remember him of course!) just took his polygraph test last week.
Hope it all goes well for you.
Where are you going to be this fall? In Manitoba...? Is there a chance of you visiting S'toon anytime?
