Yesterday Justin Vadasz called me and told me he was in town... better yet he wanted to spend time with me! Thus, that has been my last 24 hours... fun with Justin Vadasz! We went to a show and watched the guys he is travelling with perform and then watched a girl punk band "shark attack, shark attack, shark attack... AHHHHH!" What a time!!! Following that we came back to my place to watch a movie and had an amazing night sleep!!! We went to Portage la Prairie for the day today to visit my sister and cousin!! It was such a fun and relaxing day!!!

The best part about my day was the puppy I stole from my sister!!! Yes you heard me right... I stole it. Actually to technically steal it she would not notice it until I was gone but she packed him up for me. So ok i'm a babysitter!!! This puppy has not been sold yet so I thought it would be fun to own a puppy!!! I LOVE him... I named him Rocky. He is sleeping right now wrapped in a towel because I don't want him to poop on the couch. But I tuckered him out pretty good!! We pretty much painted the town red... The only sad part is taking him away from his mother... she cries if I leave the room and she notices or wimpers when I'm not holding her and she wants some cuddling time with me!! I think i'm falling in love!

In life today I feel like I'm chasing something out of reach... It gives me such unsatisfaction I don't even know why I'm focusing on it. I just think back to the times in Saskatoon where my life was "perfect" I was directly in the will of God... How do I know that??? I was happy and my life felt fulfilled!I had an amazing dependency on Him and thought of nothing else but his plan for me and the people around me. I had all areas of my life covered and I loved everything about it. God and I had never been closer... it was amazing! I keep asking myself why I don't come back to that place of such security... my answer is truely unknown... maybe it's not... maybe I'm just too stubborn...

Man O Man... my blogs arn't as regular as I would have liked them because before I know it it's been a week and a half between posts. These days are going so fast, I feel as though I can't keep up with them.

I just finished a seven straight stretch working so I'm alittle tired these days! But I have enjoyed my last few days at Calvary Place. I have one lady there that is truely my favorite and we honestly have so much fun together!

As for the gym... I go pretty much every day! I noticed I'm jumping higher in the step class and kicking harder in the kickboxing class. This makes me want to go more often. Not to mention I got these wicked pair of work out pants that have white bottoms... I feel like I jump higher because of them.

I'm singing at Trent and Kourtnay's wedding coming next Saturday. I am very excited because I know Kourtnay is going to look BEAUTIFUL!! Also Trent and I go way back so it's nice to see him settle down with the girl he loves the most!!! I am honestly honored to be going to that wedding, never mind be in it!!

Um... other than that my life is completely uneventful. Life has never been this slow for me before. I like it for now because it gives me time to work out for 3 hours in the evening if I want and come home to relax with no added pressures of deadlines!! This style of living will not last long but for the time being I'm not going to complain because I'm happy!!!

Well sorry this blog isn't interesting and I probably wont blog for a long time again so please don't give up on me and stop reading... just know when I blog again it will be for great purpose and a magical story will be told... I hope!!!

My lovely sister Jennifer and myself !!
One of Jennifer's "oh so cute" puppies!!!

May is going by so fast I don't even know what to do... We're already nearing the end half and I'm not even sure what happened in the beginning half. Things here are pretty steady. I'm just working alot and going to the gym probably more than I should. For some reason I LOVE the kickboxing and step classes and go every day! This leaves me pretty sore in the morning but as a result I feel great and have more energy so it leaves me thinking it's not such a bad idea!

I just realized that I like crutons after years of picking them out of my salad. Also I always wished I was taller. But this year I am happy I'm short. I realized that if I was taller, I would have longer legs which would in theory take me longer to shave them. This is something I despise doing this year for some reason. But apparently hairy is not cool or attractive in any way, shape or form. So I just think about how I am blessed to have short legs and grin and bare the process!

Hm... I'm going to post some pictures from my sister house last Sunday. We had some mothers day festivities that included a BBQ, playing with puppies, and intense games of BOCCE BALL (my new love)... so I hope you enjoy them!!!

Today is a beautiful day!!! It's so warm outside and I don't have to go into work. Don't get me wrong I love work but I love my days off more!!!

It all started with the gym this morning at 8:30. I go to a kickboxing class and aside from my extreme uncoordinatedness my instructor Jing Jing tells me I have nice kicks!!! I am in love with Jing Jing she is the best trainer EVER!!! I also do arobics, this class doesn't go as well as kickboxing. There are some parts of the routines where I find myself standing on top of the stepper looking around at everyone trying to figure out where I went wrong. It's funny becasue there are some older ladies in my class too and they just take me to school.

I moved on from the YMCA to Shapes. At the YMCA I found that I wasn't getting the workout that I needed, especially in the classes. One time a lady around the age of 55 came in with her two pound weights and puffer ready to teach the class. I guess I could have worked harder than I did but I didn't even break a sweat!!! But here at Shapes the instructors could do circles around me which I LOVE... I like a good challenge! Also it's just a beautiful building and great machines. I love the weight machines becaue they are smaller sizes to fit women better!!! But enough about the gym...

I went to sit with my grandpa outside this morning. Now that the weather is beautiful he sits outside all day... it's funny because he knows the neighbours routines... like when they leave for work, when they come home and when supper time is for them... We call him the presdient of neighbourhood watch!!! If something is out of sink... HE KNOWS!!! But that is my favorite part of my day, sitting outside and talking to him... He can't talk but I know he understands and listens to everything I say.

I'm heading out to good ol' St. Francis Xavier to visit my good ol' friend Jayme Evans. She is pretty awesome and we always have a good time... she is cooking me potatoes tonight along with steak!

Well I guess that is all... Keep fit and have fun friends!!!

So much has happened in such little time!! This week has been action packed and I have had so many new experiences, I just had to blog about them!!!

First and formost I would love to give a shout out to my co-worker Jill... she always makes me look like such a good employee in front of my big boss!!! I know you are reading this Jill and I want you to know the love I have for you is " Deep and wide, Deep and wide there's a fountain flowing deep and wide..." and any other song from the grade four Sunday School Department!

Secondly I would like to express my love for my BEST FRIEND IN THE WHOLE WORLD... the one and only SUSAN!!! We live so many miles apart but my heart is with her right now... can you feel it Susan??? Can you feel it beating??? Can you??? She and I are on the road to Summertime skinnyness!!!!

Well now about my exciting week!!! I ate some pretty interesting food this week. I ate pig ears. Yes that doesn't sound great, however, it is really good... that is once you have gotten over the fact you are eating pig ears!!! What they do is chop them up fine and deep fry them. They are rather crunchy and make a very nice snack. Then I went out for supper and ate Sushi... that was great!!! I always thought sushi had to be raw fish, but I had chicken, shrimp, cabbage, beef and anything else that was cooked first. It was great!!! I also had bubble tea for the first time. It was so good and quite the experience!!!

I used to play competitive basketball but over the year I have slowed down to coaching or just shooting around... well well well... "WENDY GOT HER GAME BACK" I have been playing so much lately and it's been great!!! I have some friends that honestly play evernight for hours... I go now and play. It's a different kind of ball, I would venture to say it's the way ball was intended to be played. I play with philipino guys and they are so fast. It's a super fun game. You don't have to be amazing becuase it's almost like no one on the court stands out. It's such a team thing... always moving... always setting screens... and if you have the shot, take it!!! I think i'm going tonight again!!!

The weekend was spent in Carman. I brought some youth from Portage La Prairie to a youth night there. It was great because I got to know some youth (which I really miss being invloved in) and I got to see my nice friends from Carman!!! Over all my week has been great!!!
